Kase 4.6: Money w/Currency

Probably the biggest update since 4.0, Kase 4.6 packs a lot of new goodies.

One important addition is the new Money field with multi-level Currency support! Another big improvement is, under the hood, Kase is now moving to a new internal framework based on modern Collection View and Diffable Data Source, bringing to the table: collapsible sections, more powerful sorting and searching, and fully animated changes.

In this release, these updated (or new) modules are based on the new framework: Side Menu, Units, Currencies, Time Zones, Locales, Trashcan, and Database History.

New Features​

  • New Money field with multi-level Currency support
    • original: original transaction's currency & amount is recorded
    • default: conversion to field-defined default currency is automatic
    • pinned: pinning to any currency is optional
    • transient: on the fly auto conversion to display in any currency
    • the comprehensive Currencies browser alone is highly useful
    • Decimal type based to avoid rounding errors with Float types

Enhancements​

  • Customizable Side Menu with collapsible sections
    • providing easy access to the completely redesigned Units, Time Zones, Locales windows and the brand new Currencies browser
  • Units:
    • new cleaner & clearer design with collapsible sections
    • View options: Sort modes (reversible), Convert Scale, Patch toggle
  • Time Zones:
    • new design with Show Time option, proper display for alternate GMT offsets
    • Selection Sets: Recently Used, etc.

    • context menu and swipe actions to Add to/Remove from Recent List
  • Locales/Languages:
    • Selection Sets
    • View options: Sort modes, Show 2nd language option
    • Search with scopes: Endonym, Exonym, ID, etc...

Fixes​

  • Search controllers not deinited in certain conditions (fixed)
